Customer support agent

Put a face on your first line of support. The agent answers common questions, asks for clarification when it needs to, and stays friendly under pressure.

The identity

curl -sS -X POST https://api.lookalike.com/v1/identities \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOKALIKE_API_KEY" \
-F "name=Support" \
-F "prompt=You are a friendly support agent for Acme. Keep answers short and specific. If a question is ambiguous, ask one clarifying question before answering. If you are not sure or the issue needs a human, say so and offer to hand off. Never guess." \
-F "image=@support.jpg;type=image/jpeg"
# -> { "identity_id": "id_...", "status": "ready" }

The session

curl -sS -X POST https://api.lookalike.com/v1/sessions/start \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOOKALIKE_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{ "identity_id": "id_..." }'

Make it feel right

Keep answers short. Support conversations feel best when the agent gives a crisp answer and then checks in, rather than delivering a monologue. The "keep answers short" and "ask one clarifying question" lines in the prompt do most of the work.
